“With a passion for teaching, Nneka Francisca Ike began her academic journey with an undergraduate degree in Igbo Studies from the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka 2014. She furthered her studies with a master’s degree in Translation (English-Igbo) 2020 and is currently undertaking doctoral studies in Igbo Language both in the aforementioned institution. She is also on the verge of completing her PGDE program in National Open University of Nigeria.
Upon completing her Masters degree, Nneka Francisca Ike secured a lectureship position at the renowned National Open University of Nigeria, Faculty of Arts, Department of Linguistics, Foreign and Nigerian Languages, first as an adjunct lecturer from 2022-2023 and later as a permanent staff from 2023 to this day. Her dedication to work in her few years of service once earned her a letter of commendation from her faculty.
Nneka Francisca Ike as a young academic is actively pursuing research so as to contribute to her fields of interest and also is attending conferences, trainings and workshops for personal development and advancements in her field. “
